Bio:
Flavia has been active in fitness since a young age, with a childhood rich in motor experiences where she participated in ballet and other sports for more than ten years.

In 1994, she moved to Florianopolis, an Island in the south of Brazil, mainly to run away from the violence and the chaos of São Paulo, but also because she liked to surf and the harmony between beach and tranquility was perfect for her. It was in Florianopolis where Flavia was first turned on to training with weights.

Flavia Crisos, started weight training in 1994 to gain weight, but with time she got a taste for the sport of bodybuilding. After attending college for Physical Education and acquiring the technical knowledge, her training became more serious and complex. The transition between casual and competitive training was only a result of this process.

Bodybuilding was not easy for Flavia in the beginning since she always prepared herself without help. She never had a coach and as a result made several mistakes until finding the proper way. However, the competitive environment, the relationship with other athletes, as well as her personal experiences, facilitated her technical development and gave Flavia better knowledge of her true potential.

Flavia believes that the psychological side is the most important aspect of training. If you do not have devotion, motivation, persistence and discipline, the other factors such as nutrition and proper training simply do not function. The support of family and friends, which in her case has been strong, is also important. With hard work, everything is possible.

Flavia is very determined and a perfectionist who believes in what she does. The sport of bodybuilding is Flavia’s biggest passion because by surpassing her limits everyday Flavia becomes not only a better athlete, but also a better person.

Bio:

Ed Teixeira began his ATV racing career in 1992 by racing motocross. During the 1994 season, Ed was undefeated and started mentoring and training several new racers.

At the start of his ATV pro career in 1995, Ed was approached with the opportunity to race personal watercrafts (PWC). With a strong desire for a new challenge; Ed took up the offer and quickly applied his ATV racing experience and skills to PWC racing. In 1996, Ed Teixeira was able to maintain a high level of performance in both ATV motocross racing and PWC racing. Ed went on to win the PWC Regional Championships two years in a row, while acquiring a 7th place world ranking in 1998 on his Sea Doo HX.

Ed continued to succeed in ATV motocross racing while making numerous appearances in Quad War Exhibitions, which often drew crowd of over 135,000 spectators per venue.

In 2001, Ed’s desire to explore other challenging forms of ATV racing led Ed to off-road desert racing, which became his focus. In 2008, Ed switched his focus to the WORCS series, which is a Grand Prix style series that has become the premier series on the West Coast.

In late 2008, Ed broke one of his legs while training and spent most of 2009 recovering from his broken leg.
